Inspired by Captain Bill Grant Smith, great grandson of our Founder George Smith, our new product will make you wander through the misty glens of Scottish Speyside to the rolling vineyards of French Cognac at every sip.

The Glenlivet single malt range is now world famous for that wonderful, warming smooth fruit flavours. The new Founders Reserve whisky balances these flavours exceptionally, with creaminess and sweetness characteristics made possible with the use of First Fill American oak casks.

This well balanced and smooth single malt is Glenlivet’s newest expression and pays tribute to their pioneering founder George Smith, capturing the smooth fruity taste that he first envisioned in 1824.

The 12 year-old expression is a fine example of how the distinctively crisp, citrus character of Aberlour’s raw spirit is deftly softened by double cask maturation. Traditional oak and seasoned Sherry butts are both used to great effect, as the mellowed spirits within are combined to deliver a subtly balanced flavour. Soft and rounded, with fruity notes of red apple. A fine sherried character, balanced with rich chocolate, toffee, cinnamon and ginger spiciness. Warming and lingering, sweet and slightly spicy.

The mature, deep, spicy one: a deeper Sherry influence adds more spiciness and a liquorice tang. Greater age adds body and develops the distinctive fruitiness to a rich raisin. Initial notes of soft apricot and cream are offset by developing flavours of blackcurrant jam and sweet oak with a touch of honey.

Aberfeldy 12 Years Old is fragrant with notes of incense, nutmeg, heather and scented honey with a fruity softness. It is redolent of cherry, pineapple, toast and raspberry jam. It has very light smokiness and a touch of sherry.

This lip-smacking 12yo AnCnoc (formerly Knockdhu) is a top-quality proponent of the non-sherried Speyside style, showing polished malt and a delicious spiciness throughout a warm, complex palate and lasting finish.

Rich and weighty with heady and smoky aromatics. At full strength, the initial aroma is a beguiling mix of warm Christmas cake, walnut oil and parma violets fused with fresh ocean spice, cedar and pine needles falling from the Christmas tree. A smouldering coal fire and the scent of well-oiled leather brings warmth. The sweetness of treacle toffees and chocolate-coated raisins emerge through the smoke. With water, the deep smokiness increases in intensity, reminiscent of a fired Christmas pudding. Rich flowering currants and warm baked banana and walnut bread are served with simmering mocha espresso.

Full flavoured and rich with a deep mouth-coating texture, the taste is an intriguing balance between sweet, spicy and deep smoky flavours. The flavour is initially sweet.
