Created by Sacha Lichine following his acquisition of Château d’Esclans in 2006, his vision was to create the greatest rosés in the world igniting the “Rosé Renaissance”. Sacha introduced new and innovative winemaking techniques to Provence which revolutionized the styles of rosés being produced from this region. This led to the creation of Whispering Angel, a world class rosé which presents both ease and accessibility making for enjoyment and pleasure.

Made from red Bordeaux varieties in which a slight blush or pink color is derived from brief skin contact. As with most rosés from quality regions, the wines are dry and have appealing young cherry and strawberry fruit; they are popular during the summer when the weather is hot.

Jean-Etienne and François Matton primarily use Grenache for its elegant aromas, Cinsault for its freshness, Syrah for its complexity and a dash of seafront Tibouren for its delicate white fruit aromas. The idea is to lock in all the juices’ bright intensity.

The blush wine is an instant hit with its intense aromas ranging from tangy berries to tropical fruit notes. It’s vibrant and light on the palate with refreshing zesty and herbaceous notes.
