LEOPARD’S LEAP 1659 Classic Red Blend. Grapes came from Perdeberg in Agter-Paarl (Cinsaut), Wellington (Merlot) and Franschhoek region (Cabernet Sauvignon). Standard fermentation with selective yeast accompanied by pump-overs and punch-downs at optimum temperatures. Extended skin maceration, pressed and post-fermentation malolactic.

Tasting Notes:

Nosing: Deep and ripe dark fruit with herbacious undertones.

Palate: A bit of sweetness on the nish and avours of raspberry, plums and delicate spice.
