The limited-edition, hand-decorated, John Alexander art bottle was launched in 2018. John Alexander is one of the founders of Crystal Head Vodka and the designer of the iconic skull bottle. His work has been widely exhibited at institutions such as the Corcoran Gallery of Art and the Smithsonian American Art Museum, both in Washington, D.C., and the Museum of Fine Arts, in Houston. His work is proudly owned by numerous celebrities and musicians around the world.

Known as a painter of environmentally conscious landscapes and satirical figurative work, this evocative design is derived from John Alexander’s expressive paintings. His 1988 oil on canvas painting “Dancing on the Waterlilies of Life” can be found at the Dallas Museum of Art and is celebrated in this exquisite artist bottle. The bottle contains the Crystal Head original expression of vodka crafted from Canadian corn.

It took three years working with a small artisanal workshop in Milan, Italy to create 25,000 beautiful collectibles. Each bottle decoration is hand applied and numbered, emphasizing its scarcity. This bottle decorated in John Alexander’s painting is both a beautiful keepsake and a unique opportunity to own his art.

Aurora uses the highest-quality English wheat and pristine water from Newfoundland, Canada to craft an additive-free vodka. The vodka’s purity is maintained by way of five distillations and seven filtrations. And as our final distinctive touch, three of these filtrations are passed through layers of Herkimer diamonds.

Crystal Head Aurora was created in celebration of the Aurora Borealis, the most vivid aerial phenomenon. The bottle, with its delicate and iridescent metallized finish, is our tribute to this natural light display, with its beauty and mysterious visual properties.
