Chivas 25 was the world’s first luxury whisky, reaching American shores in 1909 as the first whisky to be aged for at least 25 years. After taking New York by storm, World War 1 and the prohibition meant that Chivas 25 disappeared and became a highly coveted collector’s item. It wasn’t until 1950 that Chivas returned as a 12-year-old whisky. In 2007, Chivas’ fifth Master Blender Colin Scott, who inspired by the original recipe, re- created Chivas Regal 25 to celebrate where the story began.

Palate
Hints of rich, mild, chocolate orange and, a fondant creaminess.
