Domaine de Baron’Arques La Capitelle, Domaine de Baronarques is a very old estate, dating back at least to the 17th Century, when it was called Domaine de Lambert. At the time, the estate belonged to the Abbey of Saint-Polycarpe, a village near Limoux in the Aude department of Southern France.
Tasting Notes:
- The colour is dense and deep with a cherry-red tint.
- The refined and pleasant nose reveals intense black berry fruit aromas mingled with succulent notes of marzipan and spice.
- From a round and elegant attack, the mid-palate displays subtle camphor and liquorice notes over a very mellow tannic structure, leading into a long and highly refined finish.
