The flavour of Ballantine’s 21 owes itself to the high proportion of whiskies aged over twenty one years and matured in European Oak casks.

Tasting Notes

Colour – Rich reddish gold

Nose – Rich, honey-sweet with hints of apple and floral aromas

Taste – A smooth balance of rich liquorice and aromatic spice

Finish – Long and mellow with hints of dried fruit

Dewar’s 12 year old blend, called ‘Double Aged’ due to the 6 months of marrying in oak casks that the whisky does after initial maturation and blending. Dewar’s is one of the world’s most awarded whiskies, recently winning the Monde Grand Gold across their range. Honey, homemade candy apples, and fudge.

Warm, buttery, and mellow. Juicy raisins and fresh citrus, with subtle vanilla. Clean, full, and lively. Rich melted caramel with a trace of oak. Rounded, smooth, and long.

DEWAR’S 15, created by DEWAR’S master blender Stephanie Macleod, has been matured in sherry and bourbon casks and, once blended, put back into specially selected oak casks to marry for greater smoothness and a longer, lingering finish. The blend features tasting notes of honey, golden toffee, warm and complex, along with rich succulent exotic fruits with hints of coconut and vanilla aromas including citrus and green apple notes and lest we forget the delicate and exquisitely scented floral aromas with a smooth, well-round and long and warming finish. Called “The Monarch”, DEWAR’S 15 was named after the famous 1851 painting “The Monarch of the Glen” by Sir Edwin Landseer, which was purchased in 1916 by John Dewar’s and Sons.

Dewar’s Double Double 32-Year-Old is finished in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, this brings rich, ripe treacle notes with a hint of smokiness and the silky smooth finish.

Dewar’s White Label Blended Scotch Whisky was created in 1899 and contains around 40 different whiskies in the blend. The full bodied scotch has rich notes of honey, apple, fudge, vanilla, and wood with a subtle smokiness.
