LES AILES DE RAUZAN 2015 – 750MLLes Ailes de Rauzan-Gassies, second wine of Château Rauzan-Gassies Second Grand Cru Classé in 1855, is essentially produced from the young vines of the Château.
Deep ruby in the glass, some sediment. It reveals quite an elegant aroma full of mulberry, black plum, cherry, and vanilla with notes of cedar and dried leaves. On the palate, it’s mostly about black fruit, chocolate, and cherry plus overwhelming, in a good way, oak barrel. Pleasant medium finish.

LES GRIFFONS DE PICHON BARONS 2019 – 750ML (OUT OF STOCK)The 2019 Les Griffons de Pichon Baron is a blend of 41% Cabernet Sauvignon and 59% Merlot, harvested from the 18th of September to the 11th of October. It is being aged in French oak barrels, 60% new, for 18 months. The production of this wine represents 23% of the harvest. Very deep purple-black colored, is comes bounding out of the glass with exuberant black cherries, warm cassis and preserved plums scents, plus hints of lilacs, underbrush, dried Provence herbs and pencil shavings. The medium to full-bodied palate is charged with energetic black and blue fruits, framed by finely grained tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long and perfumed.

Costiéres de Nîmes is the most southerly appellation of the Rhone wine region in southeastern France. The wines of the area are reputed to have been consumed by the Ancient Greeks and thus figure among the oldest known wines in the world.
Its colour is a deep dark red, with an intense nose of ripe raspberry and black currant. The ripe fruit and soft spices come through again on the palate followed by soft, delicate tannins. Delicious and full bodied.

On the palate the tannins are silky, this is a wine of pleasure, subtle and seductive with beautiful harmony and elegant femininity. A blend of 68% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Petit Verdot, 2% Cabernet Franc. Vinified in the cellars by the Ducru-Beaucaillou teams, this wine receives the best care: the technical winemaking process, very selective blending, and careful ageing for 12 months in barrel (including 20% new oak).
