Medium bodied deep ruby coloured merlot filled with blackberry and red fruit aromas, and has deliciously soft and rounded fruit flavours. A nice hint of licorice with black current nose and had soft tannins on the palate. Perfect as an aperitif or paired with white meat, pasta or mature cheese and goes well with lamb chops and veal.

Kuyen, Mapuche for “moon,” is a tribute to these wise people and their ancient methods, forgotten by conventional agriculture.

This high-voltage red has great fruit expression with notes of earth and spice on the finish. An enticing complexity refreshes the palate sip after sip and has excellent potential for cellaring.

AGING: 100% in French oak barrels for twelve months (1/3 new, 1/3 second use, 1/3 third use)
