The Deacon is a masterful blend of both smoky Speyside and peaty Islay malt whiskies, making for a complex, rich, and smoky dram. In the blend, the single malts from Islay have a characteristic peaty smoke flavour, while the single malts from the mainland have a bonfire-like smoke character. A nose of charred orange, sweet malty biscuits and woodsmoke gives way to juicy orange on the palate along with delicate spice, and tangy peat. The finish is both sweet and smoky, long and smooth.

DEWAR’S 15, created by DEWAR’S master blender Stephanie Macleod, has been matured in sherry and bourbon casks and, once blended, put back into specially selected oak casks to marry for greater smoothness and a longer, lingering finish. The blend features tasting notes of honey, golden toffee, warm and complex, along with rich succulent exotic fruits with hints of coconut and vanilla aromas including citrus and green apple notes and lest we forget the delicate and exquisitely scented floral aromas with a smooth, well-round and long and warming finish. Called “The Monarch”, DEWAR’S 15 was named after the famous 1851 painting “The Monarch of the Glen” by Sir Edwin Landseer, which was purchased in 1916 by John Dewar’s and Sons.

DEWAR’S 18 Blended Scotch Whisky is a blend of very rare vintage single malt and single grain Scotch whiskies, hence the nickname, “The Vintage.” Each bottle includes whiskies from the five single malt distilleries owned by John Dewar and Sons. The whiskies are then married in vintage oak casks. This special blend is creamy with notes of honey and marzipan.

Dewar’s White Label Blended Scotch Whisky was created in 1899 and contains around 40 different whiskies in the blend. The full bodied scotch has rich notes of honey, apple, fudge, vanilla, and wood with a subtle smokiness.
