A. de Fussigny XO is a highly regarded Fine Champagne Cognac known for its rich, velvety texture and complex flavors of dried fruits, spices, and oak. It is a blend of eaux-de-vie sourced from the prestigious Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne regions, aged for a minimum of 10 years, with many components matured even longer.

• Appearance: Deep amber with prominent mahogany and golden highlights.

• Nose: A shy but refined aroma that opens up to notes of dried fig, orange peel, vanilla, rancio, and toasted oak. Other reviewers found notes of black cherry, candied citrus, and hints of black tea or cigar box.

• Palate: A rich, velvety, and full-bodied spirit featuring flavors of dark fruit, roasted nuts, leather, cinnamon, and hints of cocoa. The palate is often described as deeper and darker than younger expressions, with tingly spice and increased elegance.

This exceptional 21-Year-Old blend was co-created by Richard Quinn and Royal Salute Master Blender, Sandy Hyslop, during an experimental blending session in Strathisla Distillery, in Scotland. Hand-selecting a range of the finest Scotch whiskies from Braeval, Strathisla and Caperdonich distilleries, together Richard and Sandy crafted a rich, fruity whisky with hints of spice and soft smoke. A reflection of Richard’s personal palate, the blend is balanced and opulent with a remarkable depth of flavour and a lingering finish.

Nose: On the nose, lively touches of exotic mango and banana are complemented by creamy vanilla fudge and cinnamon, with a subtle hint of roasted chestnuts.

Palate: Rich and fruity with accents of sweet strawberry jam, pear and peaches, a touch of honey blossom is subtly balanced by oak spices and a wisp of sweet smoke.

Finish: Smooth and complex with a lingering whisper of smoke.

This wine displays aromas of blueberries, hints of strawberry and cherries with subtle cedar and black pepper notes.
A luscious fruit forward wine with well integrated oak giving soft, velvety tannins. Hints of pepper and spice round out the palate, proving good length.
