A well-structured wine with complex aromas of plum jam, green pepper, raisins, tobacco and a delicate touch of oak. Balanced and very persistent in the mouth with soft and ripe tannins.

Ripe and complex, it’s a Malbec offering plenty of juicy dark cherry throughout accompanied by notes of cola and milk chocolate on the initial pass. With some time in the glass, the balance slides in the direction of the red fruit, offering a one-two punch of ripe raspberry and faint strawberry. On the palate, there’s an enjoyable sequence of raspberry, black pepper, and oak before the arrival of herbaceous notes mingling with the ever-present dark cherry to round things off. Moderate acidity and firm tannins carry the red fruit forward to deliver a clean, mildly short finish. This is most certainly ready to drink now and can work as a standalone but a rich, hearty pairing of food allows this to show off its versatility.
