This 12 Year Old Special Edition is 100% American Oak Matured and is presented at 43% ABV in honour of The Glenlivet’s 200 Year Anniversary.

TASTING NOTES.

CASK – 100% American Oak Matured.
COLOUR – Bright, vibrant gold.
FLAVOUR – Creamy Vanilla, Sweet Orange Marmalade and hazelnut praline.
FINISH – Silky and sweet with enduring sweet oakiness.
NOSE – Fresh tangerines, pineapple slices hazelnut praline , sweet vanilla, crème caramel and subtle floral notes.
PALATE – Ripe, juicy pear, sweet orange marmalade, coconut shavings, creamy vanilla and toasted almonds.

The Glenlivet single malt range is now world famous for that wonderful, warming smooth fruit flavours. The new Founders Reserve whisky balances these flavours exceptionally, with creaminess and sweetness characteristics made possible with the use of First Fill American oak casks.

This well balanced and smooth single malt is Glenlivet’s newest expression and pays tribute to their pioneering founder George Smith, capturing the smooth fruity taste that he first envisioned in 1824.

The 12 year-old expression is a fine example of how the distinctively crisp, citrus character of Aberlour’s raw spirit is deftly softened by double cask maturation. Traditional oak and seasoned Sherry butts are both used to great effect, as the mellowed spirits within are combined to deliver a subtly balanced flavour. Soft and rounded, with fruity notes of red apple. A fine sherried character, balanced with rich chocolate, toffee, cinnamon and ginger spiciness. Warming and lingering, sweet and slightly spicy.

Introducing Aberlour 14, a new individual batch release that combines the makers careful craft with a deep understanding and respect for the natural maturation process. This approach retains the inherent character of the finest ingredients; imparting soft and gentle hints of blackcurrant and a rich creamy finish.

It’s the perfect balance of nature and nurture; rich and spicy yet subtle and elegant.
In recognition of its quality, the new Aberlour 14 Year Old has picked up several awards even before its launch – winning a coveted Double Gold medal at the prestigious International Wine and Spirits Competition 2020, and a Gold medal at the International Spirits Challenge 2020.

Aberfeldy 12 Years Old is fragrant with notes of incense, nutmeg, heather and scented honey with a fruity softness. It is redolent of cherry, pineapple, toast and raspberry jam. It has very light smokiness and a touch of sherry.

Aberfeldy 16 is matured in first-fill, re-fill and re-char Bourbon casks and then finished for six months in deluxe first-fill Oloroso Sherry casks.

Tasting notes: Sherried and full like fruitcake, with dabs of rich dark choclate and a soothingly rich, mouth-coating finish.

This lip-smacking 12yo AnCnoc (formerly Knockdhu) is a top-quality proponent of the non-sherried Speyside style, showing polished malt and a delicious spiciness throughout a warm, complex palate and lasting finish.
