This latest vintage of our Montes Alpha Special Cuvée Pinot Noir is an unmistakably bright and clean, ruby-red colour. The nose impresses with pure, red berry notes, of cherry and redcurrant, as well as blueberry and blackberry. The wine’s time in French oak adds delicate toasted notes, beautifully integrated with the fresh fruit. The palate is very expressive, with exquisitely lively body, and tremendous breadth on the fi­nish, confi­rming the impression on the nose.

Of an intense carmine-red colour, this Montes Classic Series Merlot has a potent complexity of aromas. The primary notes impact with a pool of aromas derived from the contact with French oak. Notes of dulce de leche, candy, vanilla, and a hint of spice mix together with ripe fruit such as black plum, blackberry, and a little red pepper. The wine is friendly on the palate with medium body, well-assembled tannins, and a nicely balanced acidity. The sensation of fruit and oak combine well on the palate, leading to a long finish.
