Often expressing his artistical vision through watercolours illustrations.Vincent Darré has redrawn Martell Swift in a style evoking doves of peace, thus creating an allegory in which the Martell swift is the bearer of a universal warmth and generosity directly linked to the reputation of Martell Cordon Bleu. The blue ribbon in the design connects the swifts, just as Martell Cordon Bleu connects people with the generosity of its taste.

The spirit of adventure captured in the feats of Captain Tristram Speedy is warmly encased in the light embers of Timah, a name which represents the enduring symbol of enterprise in Malayan history that led to cascades of development for the country at the dawn of the 20th century.

Unassuming notes for the nose make for an easy welcome to this dram, as a faintly floral flavour starts and is caravanned through for a breezy smooth finish. Before the taste of this light palate, a robust intensity greets the senses with a playful thrill before subduing into a sweet lingering warmth. Timah is imbued with a gentle tropical fruit peatiness that stays bright without undue intensity.

This exceptional 21-Year-Old blend was co-created by Richard Quinn and Royal Salute Master Blender, Sandy Hyslop, during an experimental blending session in Strathisla Distillery, in Scotland. Hand-selecting a range of the finest Scotch whiskies from Braeval, Strathisla and Caperdonich distilleries, together Richard and Sandy crafted a rich, fruity whisky with hints of spice and soft smoke. A reflection of Richard’s personal palate, the blend is balanced and opulent with a remarkable depth of flavour and a lingering finish.

Nose: On the nose, lively touches of exotic mango and banana are complemented by creamy vanilla fudge and cinnamon, with a subtle hint of roasted chestnuts.

Palate: Rich and fruity with accents of sweet strawberry jam, pear and peaches, a touch of honey blossom is subtly balanced by oak spices and a wisp of sweet smoke.

Finish: Smooth and complex with a lingering whisper of smoke.

Royal Salute was created in 1953 to celebrate the coronation of HRH Queen Elizabeth II. A powerful, sophisticated and opulent blend, aged for a minimum of 21 years and housed in a classic Wade porcelain flagon, this scotch whisky is named for the tradition of the 21 Gun Salute that is fired at the Tower of London for Royal celebrations.

Nose: Powerful aromas of sweet pear and citrus fruits are balanced with the full fragrance of summer flowers leading to elegant aromas of sweet vanilla and dry oakiness.

Palate: The first sip releases sumptuous sweet orange marmalade flavours infused with fresh pears that burst across the tongue. The second brings a medley of spices and hazelnuts.

Finish: Long, sweet and fruity flavours round off into enhanced subtle notes of sherry and smoke.
