Sicily’s long growing season and mineral-rich soils allow the grapes to fully ripen, giving the wine its deep colour and concentrated character. On the nose, it typically shows generous aromas of blackberry, black cherry, and plum, followed by hints of black pepper, dried herbs, and light smokiness. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied and dry, with smooth, well-integrated tannins, balanced acidity, and a long, lightly spiced finish. Its bold yet approachable style makes it an excellent pairing for grilled meats, barbecued dishes, rich pasta sauces, and aged cheeses.

The aroma is muscat-like and light on the palate. The aftertaste also has a fresh aroma of Capron-san ethyl, acidity and alcohol, which spreads out and finishes refreshingly with a hint of sweetness from the rice.

OLD PULTENEY PORT COASTAL SERIES – 700MLOld Pulteney Port is a wonderful marriage of flavours from two iconic spirits, both found close to the sea – single malt Scotch whisky from Wick in the Scottish Highlands, and Port from the Douro Valley of Northern Portugal. Carefully matured in second-fill ex-bourbon casks, the expression was then further matured in both hand-selected Ruby Port Pipes and Barriques, absorbing the rich flavours of the delicious, fortified wine. Like Old Pulteney, the creation of Port goes back centuries and plays a huge part in the history of its region.

ORBEN – 750ML (OUT OF STOCK)Orben is a wine from the Rioja region. It is produced by the Bodegas Orben, the youngest winery from the Artevino Group, which also is home to Viña Izadi and Finca Villacreces, known for the exceptional quality of their wines, and Bodeges Vetus.
The grapes used to make Orben come from vines grown on 79 microplots in Laguardia, la Rioja Alavesa. A region where the mediterranean and atlantic climates meet, resulting in mild temperatures for most of the year.
The wine is a blend of Tempranillo (97%) and Graciano (3%) grapes. The vineyards used were planted between 1945 and 1954 on calcareous clay soils.
As for the winemaking process, the harvest is carried out manually using 15kg capacity boxes. The grapes then pass through a selection table. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, while maolactic fermentation takes place in barrels. Finally, the wine is aged for 12 months in fine grained French Oak Barrels.
